Self proclaimed introverted extrovert. A lover of good company, good food, a good chat and a great book. I became a self taught photographer which lead to also becoming a nursing degree drop out - oops! I am so thankful for the lifestyle this has given me, now able to be present with my own children at home.
A mum to three beautiful boys and wife to a mullet wielding bogan. My happy places all happen to be spots where I photograph families, salt water and the tall pine trees are my therapy. I spent 14 years as 'Danni Knight Photography', after chasing a deeper connection to my brand, Salt and Pine Studio was born.

I have endless patience and a knack for connecting with children. My approach

I specialise in newborn and family photography, welcoming brand new little ones into my warm and cozy home studio in Bittern, designed to be calm and comforting. Always gentle and patient, ensuring new parents feel at ease while I create timeless, beautiful images of your new life.
Family sessions are filled with fun, laughter, and a little bit of delightful chaos—because that’s what real family moments are made of. I encourage families to be themselves, allowing me to document their genuine love and joy in a way that feels effortless and real. It isn’t just about pictures; it’s about preserving memories that families will cherish forever.
