Your session

Hello! Welcome & congratulations!

I cannot wait to meet your newest little love. I hope the following information makes you feel prepared for our session together at what I understand can feel like such an overwhelming time. This might be your first outing together as a family and I am here to fully support you in that.

Important things
My address:
86 Dunlop road, Bittern. Please note the house entrance faces Inkerman Street.
Parking:
Either in my driveway or on my naturestrip is completely fine.
My number:
0407216191
Shoot time:
I typically always start at 10am unless we have discussed otherwise.
The process
I currently photograph newborns on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please let me know as soon as you can when baby has arrived so we can schedule a time and day that suits with all involved in your session. Remember that the due date we initially booked was just an estimate.
Newborn sessions run between 1.5-2.5 hours. This gives us time for feeding and settling in between photos.

On the day

On the day
If you are running late, please don't stress. Give me a text to let me know. The room will be very warm and cosy. I recommend you wear layers so you can stay comfortable. Water bottles for everyone and a snack box for any siblings is ideal.
I will likely ask you to 'top up' baby when you arrive. Generally after we strip them down to a nappy they can be a bit irritable. The feed is to resettle.
Best case scenario would be to bath baby at home, give them a full feed and then drive to the studio.
What to bring
As noted previously. A water bottle for everyone and snacks for siblings.
I supply all blankets and wraps. Some people like to bring baby in an outfit to be photographed in first.
Please dress baby with no singlet for minimal disturbance when you arrive.
What to wear
White or light colours work well, as well as earthy colours (browns, greens, greys, browns). Please avoid obvious logos on tops or bright clashing clothing. If you're feeling unsure, feel free to bring a few things and we can decide. Sometimes looking through my instagram or galleries at what previous families have worn can be helpful too.
Trust me when I say... Bring spare clothes for afterward. naked newborn + you holding them = big mess.
